UA LOCAL 442 SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT - (6/26/2023)

The 35th Annual Local 442 Softball Tournament and picnic will be held on August 26-27, 2023. It will be held at the Louis Park softball complex in Stockton, CA. Great food and refreshments will be served. 

The slow-pitch softball tournament will be a double elimination format, with a consolation bracket. There will be trophies for first place through fourth place, along with a consolation bracket winner’s trophy. The first and second place teams will each receive individual trophies, and there will be MVP and Offensive player awards. 

The slow-pitch tournament will be played with a 15-ft pitch height limit, and there will be a mat included with the plate strike zone. There will also be a 3 home-run rule in effect throughout tournament play. A team may hit three homeruns before the equalizer rule comes into effect, that team may hit its fourth home run but not anymore until the opposing team hits its fourth home run. Each team may only go “up” by 1 home run for the remainder of the game. Home runs hit over the limit are outs. 

The picnic will, once again, be the best that can be found in any tournament in the country! It’s a great time to greet old friends and make new ones!
